Liverpool bid for third signing
Liverpool have made an offer to sign goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, according Trabzonspor's club president Ahmet Agaoglu.

Liverpool are not short of options between the sticks with Adrian providing strong back-up to Alisson.

But the Reds have reportedly made an approach for another option in Cakir.

"There are offers for Cakir, we continue to receive offers. It’s been said Liverpool have made an offer," said Agaoglu.

Every time that we play a Spanish team, these rather boring ‘unsettling tactics’ appear.

People like to try new things and experience different countries and cultures.

Professionally speaking, I agree with you but life is more than just your job. Plus, it’s the club who have yet to offer him and extension.

Having said that, I don’t see him leaving and the club will extend his deal.

lots have things have been said but that doesn't make them right and anyway as club president one would have thought he would actually know if a bid had been tabled by us .<doh>

Rumours of Everton signing Mertens and Insigne. Obviously and lazy links that are unlikely if you all me but... they'd be great signings and a level above what they normally sign.

I get that, and he is what - 29? 2 or 3 years ago I'd have understood it, but it seems like the sky's the limit for us currently and I'd have thought anybody would want to be part of that.

Yeah, there has been talk of getting back what we paid and not letting his value drop with age but its all BS. We are financially sound and
Gini must be happy where he is. A valuable member of the squad.
 
Be good to see how many of the youngsters Klopp will use. That they could take on a full strength Everton and not only that but boss them, bodes well and may mean little transfer activity.
