Manchester United sent their head of global scouting Marcel Bout to watch RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner last weekend, claims transfer expert Duncan Castles.
However, Castles says Liverpool have already begun negotiations over a move for the Germany international.

Werner scored a brace as Leipzig beat Hertha Berlin 4-2 in the Bundesliga last Saturday.

Castles says Werner has a complex release clause in his contract and would want a wage in excess of £300,000 a week.

What's a "transfer expert" when it's out?

Sander Berge hint
Liverpool target Sander Berge has dropped a massive transfer hint.

The 21-year-old Norwegian international has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was reported to have spoken with the Genk midfielder after a recent Champions League encounter.

And his words have clearly done the trick with Berge admitting that he wants to play at Anfield "as much as possible".

"Playing at Anfield is a dream for everyone in the world, and not least for Norwegians," Berge said to TV2. "Liverpool are the best team and have the most fans. So I could certainly like to play at Anfield as often as possible."

French giants PSG are lining up a shock swoop for Liverpool attacking midfielder Adam Lallana in January.

According to The Mirror, PSG are interested in a deal for Lallana as they look to replace Edinson Cavani – who has signed for MLS side L.A Galaxy.

The report claims that Liverpool could use the money from selling Lallana to sign Ryan Fraser from Bournemouth.

Madrid after VvD according to gossip columns. We’ve been here before with quite a few of our players. Have to say though, that if Klopp does not renew his deal after this season, players WILL become unsettled and perhaps look beyond Klopp. It will also impact incoming signings - right now, he’s a big reason for them to sign!

Former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has opened up on how his lack of football at Juventus has left him unhappy.

Can departed Anfield on a free transfer in 2018 to join Juve, but after a bright start to life at the Italian giants, he has since fallen down the pecking order and endured a tough time under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

The 25-year-old has made just one start all season for the reigning Serie A champions - a draw with Leece back in October - with three further substitute appearances, and Sarri also leaving him out of his 25-man Champions League squad.

The midfielder has been linked with a return to the Premier League, as well as being a rumoured target for both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

No - before anyone asks.

Nothing anyone with half a brain couldn't predict...
He was always a player who believed he was far better than he actually was.
