Only full backs and up top we’re light in that aspect. CB we have cover, midfield has more than enough with lallana and of possibly pushed further forward along with with Gini.

I wonder how ready Brewster is to take the step up. We're not supposed to say how good players have looked in preseason but it does give some insight into how they read and react in a game. On that score he's done very well. I like that he plays with no fear and looks like he's feeling like he belongs there, something I haven't seen in the other youngsters.

I think he’d have got more game time last he’s rif not for the injury. Klopp has talked him up and he’s played a lot in ore season so I think he’ll get chances. It’s just if he can take thrm.

Promising defender Ki-Jana Hoever has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool, the Premier League club have announced.
It is a first professional deal for the 17-year-old Holland youth international, who joined the Reds from Ajax in September 2018.
