I agree that we have to be careful who we bring in. I think some believe that we're not improving unless we bring in a big name - but big names too often come with big egos and big wage demands, and both of these things have the potential to upset the balance within the squad.
Apart from a more creative midfielder, it's hard to see where the first XI can be significantly improved upon. Certainly the squad needs bolstering, but if Klopp brings in a number of "lesser" names that he thinks are the right fit then that's fine by me.
Give me a paper thin squad that can get 97 points. I think you underestimate our squad too much . One thing that is very clear is we have multi position players and this allows us to accommodate any injuries without significant impact on the results.
There are youth players knocking on the door in Brewster and Jones while Ox hardly played last season. I think there is a TAA type player in those two youngsters. We also have a more settled Keita who I personally believe will play way better than the past season.
Only place I'd sign someone is left back and at a push right back . We are better moving on players like Lallana from the wage bill at the moment.

we've 3 or 4 genuine world class players and as long as they play all is well.
we've 2 players for every position bar lb and up front is highly debatable quality.

Good lad. Not ready for a CL club yet, but give it a few seasons and he'll be ripe to move on from Uniturd.
But we weren't lucky with Trent (or Jo Go), and hence we played hendo at right back against Leicester that, possibly, were the two points lost that would have won us the league. Senseless letting Clyne go in Jan, imo. We need a right back as cover, and to allow Trent to play in midfield too for some games. WB would have been good for us, but not at that money.
