On a more serious note, with Solanke going on loan (beginning of the end) and Sturridge going soon too, we must be identifying a new striker this window or next. Additionally Klopp must surely want a Fekir or similar still.

Yep.........Rabiot?....Ramsey?.........................can't see the Fekir thing being resurrected.
Strikers?......who knows, could it be an 'up and coming' that Klopp will 'groom'
 
So new signings between now and next season will, imo, depend on who stays:

We know that we will lose a few out of contract and then there's the usual suspects - so who would we replace them with? It doesn't have to always be an acquisition, perhaps another promotion from the u23's.

So that's a LB, at least one forward, a back up keeper and keep Milner! Can any of the kids step up? I doubt we'd let all go - 7 players out is too many, even if they are only bit players.
 
Didn’t realise Milner was out of contract. Def should be signe duo for 2 years if possible, he might want more security give he’s 32 though.

your first 2 don't actually exist.

the only actual first team player there is Milner.

sturridge got us a goal. hasnt done much else.

origi has done less time but has same impact.

mong is a whatever....

so.

gk: there's 2 at u23 level. I wouldn't back either to be good enough.

lb: Adam Lewis is u23 option. I'd be shocked if he makes it but he's another free kick specialist. he needs a chance and then to really step up. I am not sure he will get either.

cb: Matip might well go. again we have 3 so it's a bit early for ki.

rb: clyne might well go. so there's another opening.

midfield options... Camacho, Jones, kane, we've not seen even a sight of two of those. barbie kane did ok on loan so far.

forward options.. Wilson is the obvious one. brewster imo is toast. watch for glatzel and Duncan imo next season.

Milner will most likely rejoin Leeds if they get back to the PL and end his career there.

Also, Pulisic to Chelsea confirmed.
 
For me we can't affrod to keep spending this year.

Pulisic went for 58mil with 18 months? left on contract so theres no way we can compete with that fee as we've spend quite a lot already.

chelsea have left pulisic in dortmund til may so he can win the league there as well.... we couldn't afford to leave him there.
