The area where the ligament is take form is key.

There are several ways to do a cruciate now.

They can reconstruct form the guys own tissues, they used to take a bit form the knee cap tendon but this is now not so much as its taking too long to heal after.

They can reconstruct

the can take a live donation form a parent, they take form the hamstring so this is one reason is sports they don't look for it from the injured star

This used to be all open but now its keyhole

The issue with taking form a corpse is it is not native tissue so can be an issue.

If you or I went in for an ACL they would take our patella tendon material or a strand of hamstring (its semi tendon like) and patch us up but these footballers need minimal invasion and the fastest result so they do the donation thing.

Liverpool face tough competition for the signing of Kai Havertz of Bayer Leverkusen, according to Sport Bild (h/t Mirror).

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly reprised his interest in Napoli star Piotr Zielinski.

Zielinski almost signed for the Reds back in 2016 before a move fell through when Napoli came in with a late bid.

The Polish midfielder is currently in talks with over a new deal at the Italian outfit.

It was announced this week that Besiktas would be terminating the contract of former Real Madrid defender Pepe, with the Turkish side struggling financially. The 35-year-old was one of the highest earners with the Istanbul-based club, with his two-year contract worth an alleged £9m-a-year for the Portuguese star, as reported by Goal.

Impressively, the 35-year-old managed to score five goals in his 17 appearances this season, but has had to depart for the sake of the club’s finances. In what was an amazing gesture, Pepe covered the unpaid wages of some Besiktas staff before he left.
