Liverpool are set to step up their interest in Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele if they can offload Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi, according to the Express .
The former Borussia Dortmund striker has not always been a regular at the Nou Camp and wants more game time, leading to speculation he is unhappy and wants a move away from the la Liga champions.
Liverpool are monitoring events closely but they will have to free up funds first, which ahs led to suggestions Origi and Solanke will both be leaving.
Origi is attracting interest from a number of Turkish clubs, while Crystal Palace and West ham are watching Solanke.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is in talks with England manager Gareth Southgate about defender Joe Gomez sitting out the friendly against the United States on Thursday as the 21-year-old is nursing an Achilles problem. (Mirror)
Dembele would be a great signing but I simply can’t see it happening.
As for offloading our current strikers; there are two or three teams at the bottom of this league, badly in need of attacking players. Surely we can find a home for Solanke and Origi?
Whatever happens, come the end of the season, I can see both leaving together with sturridge and Markovic so we will be back in for attaching players.
Wolves wanted origi but didn’t want to spend the 20m we priced him at this summer apparently. Few clubs would take solanke on loan
yeah loans are no real risk. If he doesn't work out you are at a low loss but buying a guy who's hung round like a bad smell at liverpool and isn't making it is a bit of a risk.
Nobody has wanted origi as he completely stunk out Wolfsburg last year, same as his last season at lyon (wasn't it?) I think they see him as a bad attitude and could go sulk on them.
Dembele at barca is about one club for having the same rep. Went for big money to dortmund, did ok, barca stepped in and he started acting up... now barca are reaping the seeds they planted as he is acting up there.
solanke yeah i can see a numbe rof clubs wanting a try and buy deal there. Seems a nice enough lad, no bother but just not a great goal scorer.
