Welcome back big fella <ok> ¿Qué pasa?

Cheese thread next week when my directors are on holiday <ok> ****ing fantastic and back in virtually one piece. Did have a fall (one beer before it) on a dark, uneven path, but took most on my arms and no damage. Gashed my shin on a rusty iron ladder getting back into the boat after swimming with dolphins (no tetanus jab), but I can still talk. so no lockjaw. Healing nicely <ok>

New fun phone call. I've not had this one before.

Robovoice:

The IRS has issued a warrant for your arrest. All your property is about to be seized. You are being monitored electronically around the clock. Call us back immediately.

I'm disappointed there was no option to talk to a live person, I could have had fun with that scam caller. Not going to call back in case the are any hidden fees or whatnot, or they log who calls back and put it on some kind of "suckers" list.

Anyhow, if I'm not around much it wasn't really a scam... <laugh>

It would be funny if I were being monitored electronically. I wonder what they would think of not606?

If you have a look those IRS scam callers are all over YouTube, usually originating in Pakistan or India.

Here's one of the better ones where the person being scammed shuts down all the scammers computers while he's talking to him.

You must log in or register to see media

Yeah, it seemed so preposterous that I knew immediately it was a scam.

Why were those poor dolphins not allowed tetanus jabs before swimming in the same water as you <yikes>

I got quite good at pushing me old mam round in her wheelchair but I don't think either of us would have fancied that one. Up or down.
