which is also why Ings was actually a pretty good replacement as he ticks most of the above boxes (maybe lacks in the creative department) but certainly is more speedy. Not a top quality replacement though but one to make do.

I’m sorry but Ings is nowhere near he level of Firmino, even as a back up. I know you’re not saying that Ings is as good as Firmino but he’s literally a millions levels below.
All Ings has for him is the ability to run around. Nothing else. Firmino works hard but he’s incredibly intelligent in terms of pressing the right players and the right times, closing and opening up space and gaps in the final third.
There’s a lot more to pressing than just merely running around.
