So Barça trebled their money on Yerry Mina after seven months and four starts. Pretty good business that.

And a dig at Bernard - He was once linked to the very biggest clubs and started for Brazil in their 2014 World Cup hammering.
 
I think Mina is quality. It’s a common problem when young players go to these super clubs with the very best players in the world already established in the position they are aiming for. You could argue that Gomes is in the same boat.

Gomes was offered to us as part of the Ford deal - we rightly told them to f off.

Ya Gomes fell off a cliff hard after moving from Valencia. At least Mina still looked capable for club and country when called upon. Gomes has been **** even for Portugal since the move. He was once considered a pillar for the future for Portugal and didn’t even make the World Cup squad.
