It's indicative of the the market, that when I heard 60m I thought "that's not bad" .
It's going to be the case that 50 and 60 million will be the going rate for a good player with potential. We are still light on quality for the forward positions.
Personally I'd like that one more in the right spot
Think people forget just how much rotation we did last season, especially near christmas. Klopp tried to keep it fresh every week. Shaqiri is good cover for Salah and Mane, but we have no cover (suitable) for Sturridge or attacking midfield. I still think we lack creativity
My first choice attacking wise would be an creative AM which would allow for only 2 forwards, if required ,plus help break down deep lying defences even when playing 433.

Its a squad game mate. If we signed him we'd have Salah, Mane, Firmino, Pulisic and Shaqiri for three positions. That's the quality we should be aiming for. Shame Solanke or Studge will be the other one.
I think my main sticking point is the fee. It's still big money for a relatively unproven player.
Given the ways fees are going, if he becomes as good as his potential suggests, he will be another one in the £100 mil bracket. It's going to become more and more commonplace
With how young he is, they're isn't a massive risk as we should be able to recoup most of he doesn't work out.
He's American so he'd open the American market a bit more for us too.
