Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has rejected an approach from Real Madrid for him to become their next permanent manager, according to Sky Sports Italia.

According to Sky Sports Italia, as cited by Football Italia, Conte intends to honour his contract with Chelsea.

Conte was contacted by Real Madrid directors yesterday, according to the report, with the Spanish club enquiring as to whether the Italian would be interested in the role.

Isn't conte a defensive minded coach yet real is attacking?
 
So i we bought a decent keeper and CB, our starting 11 could have 5 new faces come August. That’s too many to make it click straight away imo...I suspect some will be eased into the first team as we did with Ox and Robertson.

Yeah I don’t think we’d start the first game with all 3 new midfiekders (assuming Fekir joins)

With a world cup in the way i would tend to agree..

If klopp had a full preseason then they would be more able to integrate the players. With maybe 2 weeks with a couple of them in preseason I could see maybe 2 playing.

Kieta is not going to world cup.
Fabinho is not going to world cup

This give both players a full presason with klopp

Fekir is likely not to be seen til august in training... so I couldn't see him slotting in.

I think it will be interesting come the first game.

Yep, on that note Van Dijk isn't going. Who never got a preseason with us, so he will benefit from it greatly.

TAA - bastards took him for no good reason.
Matip - not going. lovren is - will be ****ed
VVD - not going
Robertson not going
Fabinho - not going
Keita - not going
Milner not going - windy not going
Mane - going
firmino - going (won't play imo)
Salah going but will be ****ed

TBH its not too bad. the front 3 will need cover for first month of season

This. I actually expect him to be integrated as slowly as Ox was when he practically needed a 2nd pre season due to Arsenal's poor training.

Think next season should see TAA migrating into midfield. But we have four options at RB now - TAA, Clyne, Fab and Gomez. Should be okay there.
