Like to see him step up with us as a squad option.

It is possible to say no.
There's an old saying - much wants more - which is very apt here.
The bankruptcy point is interesting. I think if you've got millions and squander it, by whatever means, having even more millions will just go the same way. Going to a club for one last big payday won't be of much benefit if you're the wasteful type, you just have more to waste. If you're not the wasteful type, then you have to ask, how much is enough?
If he signs a new contract I will not mind him going to Rangers.well that's not happening

We always learn the hard wayNow you tell me......

In Buffon's case he has had a great career so it's almost a why not. What annoys me are players like Oscar at 25 going to China. He had/has so much to give the game but is now playing [I presume not benched] in almost obscurity just for the money.yeah but if you are chasing it cos you spend it fast then a pay day is prob all you think about.
living week to week must be tough as a footballer on 250k a week.
imagine running out of dough on a Wednesday and having to forgo whatever the tell you spent it all on from Friday to Wednesday.
Rangers are going to be linked to everyone of or young players all summer. Some might be true but pretty lazy going

Oscar is not in squad.
Like.... ended his own carer but took in the money
Really good squad though isn't it.
GKs, Full backs are attacking, Cbs.. are what they are. Midfield is very very good and up front its glittering.
Oscar imo would have been in that squad.

Liverpool transfer news: Mohamed Salah could force a move to Real Madrid
Liverpool and Real Madrid face off with Champions League glory at stake on Saturday night.
The Reds go into the match as underdogs despite having Salah, arguably the best player in world football, at their disposal.
The Liverpool star is on Real’s radar with the La Liga giants reportedly willing to pay whatever it takes to lure the player to the Bernabeu.
Jurgen Klopp has always insisted the Egypt international will not be going anywhere.
But that has not stopped Spanish outlet Don Balon from saying Salah wants out of Liverpool this summer.
Any move is likely to be one of the biggest in football history.

you are right.
For me its simple
a) our yuong players are not good enough to play there... not ready so rangers are wasting their own time
b) those that are good enough would gain nothing form going there. eg. ejaria or wilson. or maybe even solanke, woodburn, grujic. they should go to clubs fighting for promotion in championship

I agree, the standard of footy up there is shocking and the young lads wont gain anything from going there. Same as Gerrard really.
