We need a GK, CB, DM and a flexible Winger (someone that can across the front 3) if we're even going to think about challenging imo.

Agree with all of this. A solid GK and CB sorts out the back line. Throw in a DM with Keita joining too and that'll be a very solid midfield. A forward would give us options and a chance to rest players.

Or just throw a massive amount at Oblak - He's only 25 so could be our keeper for 10 years.

I can't see Mignolet sitting on the bench come 31st August (or whenever the deadline is).

Anyone else reckon we need a creative mid? I would have loved Suso but not sure he's really up for it.

Alternatively - Nabil Fekir. He can play across the front line and in behind the striker.

So.... We fans know looking at a lad like karius that he might do ok but he's got things in him. I think having watching mingolet he is inclinded to be alseep at times. karius palms stuff out. we saw it the minute we heard we were buying him in his record and he's still doing it.

I think Allison is vastly expensive but if klopp says he's the one then fine. If not then fine. Honeslty i don't know what klopp will do with the position.

You said we should buy a competent keeper. We have 2 of them so why buy another who is of similar standard. If you want to improve thebsquad don’t buy a keeper of similar standard to Karius as we end up in same situation here.

How many keepers are out there for £10m that would be better than Karius? He market has gone up and a good keeper is worth his weight in gold so no surprise they are now being suggested to cost similar prices to a decent defender or midfielder.

Henderson: 16mil - called too expensive

windy: 25mil - again relegated club. even ox 37 mil or something is critised

salah 39 mil

I think we are told every time these players can't work or are just ****.

I'd be happy with Jorginho. Versatile midfielder and frankly any brazillian that has Rafa Benitez's seal of approval must be good enough for Liverpool imo

It would be nice to get all those positions, but I'd rather concentrate on improving a couple of positions with the best available than spread the money out...


... Unless we're financially able to buy the best available in all those positions.

I am I suppose saying that for 35mil, I and you know but and isn't ever going to be a work due. So I think we should go and find one, we win t buy one ready made.

If karius improvement is dodgy as **** to consistent but he still palms stuff out then ok he has improved.

Who is to say we can't buy a guy from round Europe for whatever and while he is less recognised is still got the potential.

I suppose it boils down to shopping in cl for oblak or allison is no value to Liverpool and there's competition who will just pay more wages.

I had no expectations with Salah. Nether good nor bad. I do remember thinking him "wasteful" in his first couple of games. .

He was getting in good positions all the time and squandering some excellent chances. That has changed. He obviously started to convert those chances fairly early on.

i think you should stop listening to those voices in your head

no way were all of them considered in the way you state at the end though loads of people had doubts about the amount spent on them i.e. VVD and some of them most people knew little or nothing about them - you would have thought Salah went on holiday for a few years between leaving Chelsea & joining us they way our press behaved.

Whilst being of a "frugal" nature the thing i like about our new transfer system is that if we spend big we know Klopp is fully on board so there is a plan on how to use the signing in our system unlike the situation with Rodgers & the transfer committee .

Next year's CL money depends on league finish. The difference between 4th and 2nd is ~£20m.
