I hope we are in for him. To rival those two teams will be difficult though, especially with the money involved. I would like to think he can see that its a particular weak spot for us that he can take and be in goal for a long time.
Plus lets hope Madrid are in for De Gea.

If we’re splashing out on a keeper, then I presume we’re looking to save money by targeting someone like De Vrij or maybe Alderweirald as cheap defensive options (contract running out).
If the fee roma want is similar to what courtiois or de gea will go for then I think real will get one of those two first. they have reps in madrid.
PSG are hard to interpret. They could do anything.

The £120m for Coutinho was supposedly 95 - 105m plus add ons so right now would be surprised if we recd as much as we paid Saints for VVD in fact if the rumour is correct & Saints were paid all £75m upfront we are down by probably £30m this Jan.
I think we will have quite a bit to spend next year , but don't forget £50m is already spent , due to CL (though player bonus payments will eat up a fair chunk of that) plus increased revenue from main stand & further sponsorship / commercial deals.
