Don;t think I have ever seen a player join a club that wasn't his "childhood dream" <laugh>

Lou Macari was a Celtic/man utd fan, Shanks went in for him at the time Tommy Doc tried to sign him, Lou made his choice and went to Utd, he won two FA Cups, a 2nd Division title and a chippy on Warwick Rd, he must have been really happy when he looked at what he could have won.
But that's the way the cat farts Diego.:emoticon-0100-smile

Can has had a half arsed approach to some games since Juve became interested in him, maybe Klopp giving him the armband last night gives credence to this rumour/story.

"Juventus have admitted to doubts about signing Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, who is out of contract in the summer. The Serie A club's general manager Beppe Marotta says Can could stay at Anfield, while other teams are also interested in the 24-year-old. (Mirror)"

who knows TBH. its all very unclear.

I would have thought it would be all agreed by now as i see no reason to delay. Every game he plays is another chance to break a leg and be out of contract.

For me if the Juve guy is talking and saying that he could be signalling a few things.

a) sign of **** off.
b) worried he's not signing and starting to cover arse.
c) never had real interest.

In other words his intent is to talk to his own support base and make them feel better so I'd need to know what they have been saying on Can to form an opinion. If they are very luke warm on the guy he could be shifting to C.

D) he's watched our games and changed his opinion of Can...

Inter tempt Liverpool with 'substantial' loan offer for Sturridge
Inter Milan have made an offer for Daniel Sturridge after failing to hold down a first team place at Liverpool.

The England striker, who has been out with a hamstring injury since the beginning of December, is searching for first team football in order to make England’s world cup squad.

Jurgen Klopp may be fearful of losing another forward though, with the Reds reduced to sending on Danny Ings to change the game in the 1-0 defeat vs Swansea on Monday.

The Nerazzurri have now firmed up their interest, offering a “significant, but undisclosed loan fee,” according to the BBC.

"Liverpool have signed 18 year old Colombian left-back Anderson Arroyo, from Fortaleza CEIF. However, work permit issues could lead to him to being loaned out to Spanish Seguna División B side Mallorca."

So how will he be able to get his permit after his loan spell is over(genuine question btw)?

Can't remember us having that issue when bringing in foreign youth players.

We have that issue with Allan currently

We had a winger that never played for us a few years ago too

I guess of they become good enough, they get the required international recognition
