i think my point was you have just chucked in a load of squad players in (like what i did lol).

as for bottomless pit, thats United and City. Ours isn't that outrageous anymore and hasn't been for a long time.

Telling me Cahill rudiger, Drinkwater And Morata arent first teamers?

Well if Christensen and Azpilicueta are our first teamers, someones missing out between Cahill and Rudiger (i actually like rudiger, cahill can go).

As for Drinkwater, he's played even less football for us than Solanke, so the terminator Solanke is part of your spine then i don't think drinkwater counts.

Not even going to bother with barkley :P

Klopp says that the club must make it difficult for players to leave.

Well, there is a straightforward solution. If we don't want an important player to leave, we pay him what he is worth in the market. It is ridiculous that some do not realise this. Take Can. He is on apparently £55k a week. His worth is probably at this time more than £40m as he is young. In 4 months time he'll be gone and this money will be lost (and an equivalent replacement will need to be found) and on top that player will probably be paid double by his new club.

So, why not factor in the signing on fee that he will get by signing for say Juventus (£10-15m) and the wages he is worth say £100k/week? Which means wages of £160-£200k a week. And the club will still in profit as it won't need to fork out £40m plus for a replacement together the big hike in wages.

AND if he plays well, he'll be worth £60-£100m in 2 years time when Barcelona comes calling <whistle>

If some players are financially illiterate, their agents are certainly not. And clubs like ours should stop thinking they are by offering these players way below what they will get by leaving. Same with Ozil at Arsenal. They offer to double his wages but if he leaves he gets three or four times that amount. Wenger says he is so surprised they want to leave.
If only it were that simple. Despite what we often think, the people who run clubs generally aren't idiots.
Pay one player an amount much higher than others, then all the inflated egos are lining up to line their own pockets (and those of their agents). Eventually the wage bill becomes unsustainable.
Most clubs have to manage their finances and just throwing money at every problem isn't the answer.

Azpi will want to be off to spain IMO.

I agree though you SEEM to think christensen is all that so he's first choice as is Azpi. Rudiger is a genuine goal threat so I deffo see you playing him first choice LCB.

I fail to see why someone at cheslea is buying these **** english players.

Its very greedy for one guy to jump up and down outside his contract cycle about pay parity.

If you sign a contract and are in say year 2 of it with 3 to go and someone comes in and gets 50% more than you... for whatever reason... then surely you have to suck it up til your natural contract cycle in 12 months time then hit the club with it.
