Until summer, our midfield is a shambles and even then, we're pinning our hopes on Keita who may take time to settle anyway.

The sky isn't falling, but we'll be lucky to finish top 4 right now never mind the likes of VVD, Salah, Mane and Firmino looking at what the club's ambition is. You've gotta make that jump up to the elite fast or you'll continually be replacing and rebuilding and getting nowhere.

Our midfield has zero creativity now. We have to replace him this window.

Interesting reading. I think the author missed a trick with mane as the more defensive winger as this season we have been seeing that.

Imo he's identified exactly where coutinho was playing as this playmaker role and firmino ain't that so the guts have been ripped out of the side there. His own post says Dortmund never had a player like coutinho but shows rues!! And gotze!!!!

So if he is right we need a no 6, a no 10 and a gk.

Not exactly something anyone disagrees with here.

Imo off need to go buy this month cos lallana won't cut it. We need 10 wins from 16 games.

Can we win enough 1-0????? Can vvd make thst difference?

At the time of their champions league final is what he bases his ultimate template. Hence why gotze isn't in the line up. He makes the suggestion that if we take that as klopps ultimate template then his isn't keen on a coutiniho type player and has shown how his team plays without one.

We have lost a player who has scored 12 goals and made 9 assists in 20 games.

Our record without him gives hope that we have won without him and with him.

I wish him well and think his half season is frankly brilliant given he wanted to go and faked a back injury to miss first 4 league games <laugh>

Stats? They only mean something with context and understanding lads.
 
Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid, maybe we will put a cheeky bid in for him...........then leave him on the bench as he played for Utd.

I do not think we will sign anyone until Summer, then maybe Klopp will surprise us.

Well..... he says gengenpressing makes more chances but he has to acknowledge that when a side decides to lump it long for 90mins the press is negated.

Imo he had one and he used him and if you look at finals etc he never subbed the guy.
