£142m is a big package although I'd like to see the actual breakdown of that.

Personally, I'd go and offer Goretzka a very healthy signing on fee and bid £70m for Draxler.

Would leave us needing a GK, CB and #6 in the summer.

We'd then have a very strong spine and would only then need to upgrade the full backs in the following windows.

Maybe. It doesn't look good for Firminho. Is there a precedent for the length of ban?

Salah is slight....or at least that's what I took from Klopps interview before the Everton game, I'm sure he'll be back, rested and good for City.

Mane will come good. It's no coincidence that Klopp went and hugged him first last night, he is pivotal to the rest of our season.

Lallana will too.

Ox has to step up.

Henderson is out for how long? It was until Feb but that's only 3 or 4 games.....he's only a loss because our other options are poor. Can and Milner will help lad the fort hopefully but I agree, it's not great.

Firminho will be the biggest miss.

One decent signing up front and we'll be ok.

Imo we.have issues now.

firmino ban if there is one has several instances to refer to not the least of which is suarez. add in violent conduct before and it coyld be 8 games.

that puts sturridge in but he has vanished again so that leaves Solanke so that busts our press totally.

then midfield is pretty lacking in creativity.

add in can doing one means we are actually 1.5 players down there.

it's not great.

get in vvd for the back line but lose 2 of the best players potentially from the fab 4 and with mane playing ****e it's all on salah shoulder now.

ballbag is on telling us barca is getting rid of 8 players... well if the banks are helping you i suppose spending more on wages than you make is no problem.. <laugh>

Coutinho out for 105mil up front.

We paid 25mil to add those 2 and have potential add-ons coming as a bonus.


No way in a million years will we go and spend 100mil on a replacement.

Owners used VVD to soften the blow and have sent people delirious on forums and gossip pages into believing we'll go crazy in the window.

Not happening and **** knows why people believe it will?

Erm what violent conduct exactly? Being pushed into a advertising board and crowd wasn’t his fault?
 
IF Firm gets injured and it’s a big if because only evidence so far is that he didn’t say anything racist then prob play Mane and Salah Central like we did for a couple games before with Ox wide

The Alexis Sanchez business is intriguing. Why would we pay Arsenal £35m and why would he then agree to come to Anfield? When he can wait until summer , get a massive signing on fee for tens of millions and because he is free he would get a huge salary of 3-400K a week from City. And the chance of more trophies.
