Do you think you'd be higher in the League if the Costa thing has been sorted out?

not really. I think it's partly contes tactics and he lack of rotation. Our players looked knackered and he's playing our full 11 game in game out, especially when our spark is pretty much just hazard/morata, you can't expect them to do it every game especially these are the only 2 players to mark.

Everything was going down the middle. Pedro needs to play more

Bobby Firminho is greatly underestimated by the look of it. I'd have him over Dirk everyday....not because I didn't like Dirk but because I rate Bobby higher.

The difference is that DK was super conistsant whereas BF has had a slow start to the season and was off form for the first few games. He's now in the groove though and fits what we do perfectly.
The fact that his poor form tends to coincide with the team's poor performances tells a story.

Salah did miss some big chances in first 4/5 games I think. Could see he wasn’t natural finisher but since then I don’t remember him missing many chances and his scoring record is brilliant.

Once he got those first couple goals his confidence has shot up and he’s puttjnt away chances when they fall to him.

Exactly. I think @BobbyD is doing a bit of a Garth on this one.
Or maybe it's just sour grapes. :)

Salah needs to continue his scoring rate for at least the rest of the season before being considered a good finisher

you want him to score 30 league goals and 12 CL goals and maybe oh i dunno 4 fa cup goals for a total of 46 goals before you'll consider him a good goal scorer???

just as a quick comparison ian rush in 1983/84 scored 47 goals. including 8 in league cup as LFC won a treble... with btw 42 league games in season.

would you care to revise what you've asked Salah to do to prove being a good goalscorer there?

No

unrelated events.

the probability of anything anyone says on here affecting a result = 0
You are totally wrong, clearly the players read this forum. So if we big them up we lose, this coupled with the fact I am a seial loser, so whatever i say the opposite will happen.
However now i have said that - the opposite will happen. If the same happens again though, cause i have said that then i think i am back to being wrong...
hang on this could go on a bit, will stick with 2-2 and 3 red cards :)
So u probably right MITO, unless I can now claim i have covered all three options :)

It's just science. The fairies are listening to everything you say, and because they've got it in for you in particular out of 7 billion people in the world they then go and make sure whatever you want doesn't happen. Known for it.

Can’s contract with the Reds expires in June, which allows teams to sign him on a pre-contract deal with a non Premier League side in February.

The star midfielder has under 12 months remaining on his current contract but has yet to sign a new deal with the Reds.

Can has not categorically ruled out a new agreement with the club but as of yet an extension deal has not been struck.

Inter and Real Madrid have also been closely linked with Can who joined Liverpool on a £10 million move in 2014.

Despite being linked with an Anfield exit and nearing the end of his contract, head coach Jurgen Clop has kept faith in Can.

The central midfielder has managed to keep his place in the first-team making 20 appearances in all competitions.
