and he was.. I mean nobody should deny the lad looked absolutely pants.

TBH he's had a few moments and i'm not sure the CL "form" can be translated into a premier league "form" give how little a european game tests a keeper in the rough and tumble.

Yes the prem is **** but keepers have to be able to stand up to it.

Thats why i respect Ederson so much. He took the kick and was back up no complaining (once he came too in hospital :) ) I think he's a top top top keeper.

Dont know, seemed to make a bit of a meal out of it all if you ask me.

TBH he was caught nicely as shown on replay but we don't know if he posted the pic on instagram on a man city social media troglodyte.

Given he got on with it after I'd say he deserves a bit of respect.

Ok maybe we are getting old and these young lads think nothing at all of posting it up on line as a matter of fact while we see it as whinging and looking for sympathy.

Similar to Can, can't see Juve going for both. Either way we could benefit.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is one of four candidates to become the permanent successor to Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich at the end of the season. (SportBild)

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Lovren against Stoke on Wednesday.

The Reds supporters are not happy with the Croatia international centre-back, who was signed by Liverpool from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £20 million when Brendan Rodgers - now the manager of Celtic in Scotland - was in charge of the Merseyside outfit.
The win against Stoke means that Liverpool are now fifth in the Premier League table with 26 points from 14 matches
