hardly rocket science. All parties can sit down like adults at the right time and agree next steps but then barca have to bid the right number. Its not the barca show here. Its Coutinho.. yeah we've discussed and planned now all the best. not 10stories each week with a bid in august of 16mil per year and a box of pampers for the next kid we develop. I expect it to be done in may frankly.

It's not just the right number though, it's the structure too. If they'd come up with a straight + 110m Euros in straight cash in June they might well have got him, imo, without all the Chinese water torture tactics. Next may though you just know their opening gambit will be @ 60m Euros spread over five years, with another 60m Euros linked to preposterous add-ons; Ford will will put in another TR after the 3rd bid, and the Catalan press and their running-dogs at BarSkylona will give us weekly updates how Ford will definitely, certainly, no doubt about it be unveiled that Friday at the Nou Camp because, well, it's Barcelona and that gives us an excuse to say how long it is since Liverpool won the league.

Yeah that's what i meant but didn't explain myself. I said 16mil plus pampers or whatever referring to their ridiculous 16mil over 5 years offer.


My understanding is in June klopp and coutinhos team had some meeting and all were happy and all plans were fine, future was clear LFC plans wer ein place for coming season. Buy keita, no replacement needed for couts. Next thing PSG throw the apple cart over and barca and acting up.... and then LFC turn round and say but phil.. you told us so we made our plans so no you can't go.

After that its all just antics. The bids imo form barca were ridiculous and not even a decision. HOW DO YOU REPLACE A PLAYER WITH 16MIL THIS SUMMER... come on!

There is a case where messi is amazing for 12 months and barca win with what they have and thi never gets revisited. I don't know. But in general there will be 3-5 point at the top of la liga between real and barca and if barca lose it again and don't win CL (their defence wont allow it) then the will be back... and must bid the right amount.

I found thier oh we will buy keita on you unles you sell him or now we will buy lemar stuff was so funny. Hollow rubbish form a club who are out of money.

Especially when they were (reluctantly) banking a 200m Euro cheque at the time they were putting never-never bids together.

Surely Klopp has seen enough of our team now to be making solid decisions and creating a short list for his priority positions? A short list of more than one by the way!! Here's mine:

GK: buy a top keeper, Mignolet on the bench, sell Karius if anyone would have him!

CB's: we need two top CB's

CM: we've got Keita coming but surely we need a more defensive option to protect the back four

A real #9 that will score 25 goals in the EPL

5 players away from even being close imo

Many think that klopp wants karius to step up so he can justify getting rid of migs.

Ward is no worst than those 2. So one of them should go. Which one?

Defence and midfield is such a shambles it don't help who is in goal.
