No, they're getting Cavani apparently.
.... in their dreams..... in their dreams.
They came out with this a day or so after the transfer window closed, and they were specific about it being €200m.It's about time John Henry went public about the Couthinho/Barca thing, the latest from Barca is that FSG told them we'd sell at £178m(€200), until our owners say it's not true we can take it is, which would mean all the pats on the back we gave them for standing up to Barca were wasted and that they were willing to take money ahead of striving for success, and yep I know he's still here and back in the fold but it's not about him wanting his Barca move it's about our owners motives.
Liverpool wanted £178m for Philippe Coutinho, says Barcelona president

I call bullshit on the whole thing.
It's fairly transparent. He made out that they did everything they could to get the player, but LFC wanted so much money that he couldn't risk jeopardising the financial stability of his lovely club.I agree.the president is desperately trying to cling to his power. Blaming others

He's been playing to his audience throughout the entire saga.

Yeah. Which is why he cranked up our "demand" for Coutinho to €200m so he could sell it to the fans. After receiving £196m for Neymadge![]()
Daily Fail reporting leaked emails on the Coutinho transfer farce, looks like we never suggested he was for sale and Barca were told to back off.

It also shows that Barca's claim that we asked for €200m was pure bullshit, as we said.Yeah but any fan believe a lfc public statement won t be shocked.
How?It also shows that Barca's claim that we asked for €200m was pure bullshit, as we said.

Not just the Spanish press.....it does but convienently all those spanish press ignore the emails and will continue playing the line.
Not just the Spanish press.....
Is the writing date stamped electronically so as to withstand court analysis ?Excepts its in writing just like how west ham showed that the carvalho stuff was pure ****e too.

Wut? Well since you're getting all legal about it, the burden of proof falls upon the party making the claim, which in this case is Barca claiming that Liverpool asked for 200m Euros. If what they say is true, where is the evidence?
