It's fairly transparent. He made out that they did everything they could to get the player, but LFC wanted so much money that he couldn't risk jeopardising the financial stability of his lovely club.
He's been playing to his audience throughout the entire saga.

Yeah they knew the moment the psg interest surfaced they had to do **** and they pulled every Stunt they could including corrupt use of la liga powers to try block registration etc.

They then turned on us for a player they were luke warm on as theres not many players available to them and tried every trick in the book.

Their offers were really derisory and as such showed their true position.

The struggle to pay neymar, suarez and then 400k per week to messi has blunted them. The vanity nou camp refurb will break them.... they have a president thinking he's all in and **** the consequences.

Wut? Well since you're getting all legal about it, the burden of proof falls upon the party making the claim, which in this case is Barca claiming that Liverpool asked for 200m Euros. If what they say is true, where is the evidence?
