I think the Mane transfer did their heads in. They didn't have any problems with Mane at the time, but seeing him go on and become so good suddenly increased their hostility. Before then they were all like "whoever we sell we replace for half the cost lololol"

We signed some guy called Daniel Sturridge. I think we used to have someone called that years ago but he got a hang nail and after a long hospital stay died.
