All of the players involved this summer Keita included have shown really that they think the world revolves around them
 
Liverpool agree deal to sign Naby Keita

Liverpool Football Club can confirm they have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the future transfer of Naby Keita.
The Reds have agreed a deal with the German club and the midfielder that will see the 22-year-old move to Anfield on July 1, 2018 following the conclusion of the current season.
Keita, a Guinea international, joined Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in 2016 and scored eight goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances last term to help them to a second-place finish.
“I am delighted that an agreement has been reached which will allow me to join Liverpool Football Club next summer, when I will become part of a project that excites me greatly,” he said.
“My commitment to RBL remains absolute for the remainder of my time at the club. I have given my all every time I have worn the shirt – that will be the case until the final whistle, in my final appearance.
“Having my future resolved means I can now focus on helping RBL achieve great things this season. Until I join my new club, next summer, I will remain an
interested supporter from a distance.”

'The Saints reportedly gave permission for the player to have talks with Liverpool two months ago'. Eh? Surely had that been the case Soton wouldn't have had a leg to stand on when they threatened/made that complaint of tapping-up? Why did Liverpool beg for forgiveness and issue grovelling apologies?

Doesn't ring true, but in this summer dominated by the output of the Catalan press, what the hell does now?!

Whatever happens this transfer window has not been a disaster as some people hope. The bonus is that we are able to see off Barcelona off on Keita and double bonuses if they are unable to sign Coutinho until next summer.

Am I the only one who thinks it is ironic that after all the talk on this thread about who we should sign, who we have missed out on, how useless LFC are in the transfer market, that when we do a deal for Keita the site crashes out. The only time we have something positive to discuss in this transfer window and the site disappears.

If Sisu was still around he would no doubt tell us all about the conspiracy behind it!
