If the contract signed says we'll pay you £3mill if you don't sell to anyone else there is no "promise broken". This isn't primary school where we've promised to be Leipzig's best mate forever if they let us cut in line.

It would also be illegal for us to perform a medical on him without a [HASHTAG]#legit[/HASHTAG] agreement in place.

It's standard business abroad. Done deal!
So if someone else comes in with a much bigger offer next year where does that leave you?

That would cause some argument, who's player is he?

Our player, insured by RB Leipzig. Just like when players are insured by their national club on international duty, or by their loan club <ok>

It's a fairly common business practice. You pay a down payment for the option to buy a commodity at a set price.

In this case we £3mill for the option to buy Keita for £45mil next summer. Leipzig can't legally sell him to anyone else now unless we decide to not exercise our option on him.

Most rumours I've seen today about VVD is going to arse.

He's unlikely to be signed by us as he doesn't compete in the African Cup of Nations.
Why would he go there, why would any player with ambition even the players already there don't want to be there. Citeh don't seem to be bothered they want Evans and Sanchez.

Three options on VvD
1. Us
2. Chavs
3. He stays put and sulks all the way through the season

This 75mil is gathering pace on social media..watch sky report it tomorrow, on that basis!!

Keita's capture was a coup Barcelona are sniffing.

Liverpool are willing to let Divock Origi join Monaco if Arsenal target Thomas Lemar moves to Anfield in return.

Arsenal legend calls for Wenger exit as Oxlade-Chamberlain edges closer to Chelsea move
The Reds have made a huge £64.5million offer for the Frenchman already but the Ligue 1 side are determined to hang on to him.

However, with Kylian Mbappe on his way to Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco are desperate to sign a striker and are targeting the Liverpool forward.
