As i said

1. He still took his full wages

2. He choreographed a written transfer request with Barca leaks to make off look bad.

3. He missed our most crucial games of season in cl qualifier.

He can mouth so he wants, my back is turned on him.

Hang your head in shame son and get in with the games you do get now.

Indeed. Not saying he should be booed forever more but I'm not going to feel sorry for him if it happens for a game or two.

I actually don't think it will happen though.

Hadn't seen the actual quote though. Planet Anfield sourcing a Brazillian paper. That said, some Brazilian outlets were simply regurgitating everything the Catalan press told them too
 
Btw, does anyone else fear we'll go back to barca cap-in-hand if we get knocked out by Hoffenheim on Wednesday (that could damn well still happen)?

The offer is lousy.

It will all kick off if we go out of course but we have no need to sell, we will just end up 6th... or more likely 7th.

I think our summer signings might well hinge on Wednesday

No he has missed both cl play off games. Lfc wont have any more crucial games this year.

We won't reach any finals nor will we get out of the cl groupso just beingbin cl group is our season.

4th is also unlikely at this point unless radical changes come about

He isn't the first player to have been manipulated by his Agent. He's not without blame of course but probably genuinely wants/wanted to play for Barca.
May as well give him the chance to rehabilitate himself in the team; we have nothing to gain by alienating him.
Our problems with the team lie elsewhere.
