Klaassen doesn't get in ahead of Davies for me at the minute, he's going to take time to adjust to this league imo.

Our squad is decent tbf, aside from that XI there's

Klaasen, Williams, Funes Mori, Martina, Barkley, Lennon, Mirallas, Calvert Lewin, McCarthy, Besic, Lookman

Just had a look, your 3 fastest players [last season] Lukaku, Deulofeu, Valencia, - where are they now <laugh>

Seeing as you mentioned them - Spurs 3 fastest: Walker [one of the fastest in the league] Janssen, Wanyama - who were both faster than your fastest last season. I'd be a bit worried about the lack of pace. Credit to you for strength in depth this window but overall doesn't look like a team to worry the top 4 at all. As I said time will tell.

Is there some alarm that goes off on the Soton board every time VvD is mentioned on the Liverpool board?

If you noticed I did mention the possibility of him staying and having to back track, but that's not what you Soton fans want to read is it.
