Nah. He's got a bad back remember. He'll head for the practice ground, hit a few chips then practice his putting. Can't be too careful; someone might see him!

Ojo is better than Kent, imo.

I admire Kent's fearlessness but do that in the PL and you'll look like a fool. Not saying he's wrong, just young and learning.

Which is the bigger principle - not letting the player have his own way and holding onto him at all costs or releasing him because you don't want a player who doesn't want to be there ?

There is/are principles in there somewhere but I'm not sure which one I personally would go for using the 'on principle' guideline.

The first one, as it's not about the player anymore but about standing up to Barca and their media running dogs both in Spain and here. And God, above all else, I don't want to see the smug told-you-so grins on those three 'sages' on MoTD of Lineker, Wright and Alan ****ing Shearer. And wouldn't it prove Chuckle 2 and even Tony ****face Cottee right too? ****ing hell, even a SkySports poll said we 'had' to sell.

So, what has changed from when both Jurgen, then FSG said it was too late to sell in this window? A player threw a teddy out of his cot? What ****ing principle could be bigger than that?

Stand firm and stick to our guns. If Ford and his father really want to **** up his career in a WC year by acting the drama queen, let them.
