Odds Slashed For Liverpool To Sign Top Everton Target, But They Remain In Pole Position
Everton have been looking to sign Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson and while that transfer saga has been going on for some time now, bookmakers Sky Bet have installed Liverpool as shock outsiders to sign the Icelandic international. We have been listed as 8/1 outsiders for the 27-year-old midfielder, who was one reason why the Swans ended up remaining in the Premier League last season.

While not ideal, Klopp seems confident and relaxed about Emre Can’s contract.
 
Re. transfer window - it would be foolish of the PL to shorten it because foreign teams will have more leverage to drive prices.

There should be a standard transfer window from 1st June to 31st July.

Bit harsh.. it was a real loaded question at presser.... he could have done better by answering by it boring the question totally.

Mourinho is ace at answering a totally different question.

Before westbham game he was asked about winning the title and did he have players to do it. He said basically we are confident we have the players to win this game, then tagged on right at end yo stop follow up question and a y game.

Henderson should have just stuck to the wonderful player, wonderful human being line Rogers taught him.

Yep, our piss poor attempt to sign him will make another premier league side stronger and make Southampton millions of pounds richer......while our club stand still with their virtual finger up their virtual arse.
 
Barca have £91m Dembele bid accepted?
09:20: Barcelona have had a £90.8m (€100m) offer up front accepted by Borussia Dortmund for striker Ousmane Dembele.
Spanish newspaper Sport say Barca and Dortmund are now negotiating the add-ons with the Bundesliga club wanting an additional £27.2m (€30m) to be paid depending on his games, goals and trophy success at the Nou Camp.
Barca think that figure is too high and want to reduce it but it appears as if a deal is close.
How will that affect the future of Philippe Coutinho?

Yeah that's my point really. If you're gonna close it before season then should do it across all of europes big leagues so no one countries teams get an advantage.

We sell Cout to Barca we can technically still replace him, window closed last Friday then we'd be screwed.

I guess part of it is that not all the european leagues start at the same time either so theres a week or 2 either side

Well he'll probably burp a little bit of sick up, won't eat any breakfast and only play 9 holes instead of a full round at Royal Birkdale this morning.

Barca have already made their minds up imo. They dont rate him that highly.. still see him as a forward and have gone for dembele over him at same price.

They simply don't have that cash to spend twice so let's see.
