still going through but i mean why aren't you guys trying to get him. I'm thinking he's in the wanyama mould and thats exactly what you need
I thought the same with Lacazette! Don't know whether we've tried for him or not. The lure of London maybe, who knows but another failed bid wouldn't go down too well with the fans right now <laugh>

No idea why you guys don't go for carvalho. Everytime i've seen him play he's an absolute beast. Not much going forward but thats not what you need right now.
yep
more to the point why haven't we been looking for additions to our squad never mind if VVD or Keita join or as now is the case Ford leaves.
A proper DM would "improve" our CBs immediately by at least giving them some protection from having oppo forwards & Midfielders running unopposed at them which happens far too often at present

The obvious question would be why has he ended up at West Ham ?.. (if he signs).............

LFC players are blinkered imo.. the only one who's got an idea before he gets the ball is coutinho... i hugely fear we will struggle for goals if we have the midfield i've seen in henderson can, milner, winjaldum... they all are looking down, blinkered and pass back 70% of the time where it comes from.

you NEED guys with a clue what the next move is.

Against watford IMO all that was required was one midfielder to stay centre circle and demand the line stayed high and just look to ping it bwhind kabul... not at origi with back to goal to allow kabul smash him.. the guy was on one leg. a few balls just in behind him and he was freaking toast.

its heart breaking to watch them defend deep and lump it aimlessly away and know theres only one team going to score ofr next 5 and that team is on 10men cos one guys leg is gone

Soton fans are great

On VvD: 'He's not going anywhere, we're not selling, you can't make us sell, we don't need to sell etc etc'
On Couts: 'You should sell he's not that good anyway, with that money you could buy players etc etc'

To be fair you could swap Southampton fans for Liverpool fans and swap those statements round.

They value Davidson Sanchez at £10m, yet Spurs are supposed to be buying for £35m..... Something doesn't add up there. Article kind of loses credibility there.

He looked a beast in the EL final against United. Only game seen him in though but only 21 as well

I will absolutely bet you anything spurs won't spend that on him.

They will twist arms last day knowing ajax need the money and get for 20 or less.

They don't NEED a cb so can play the game.

But Hendo, it's not a difficult situation for Couthinho, he wants to join Barca and has completely and deliberately ****ed up his LFC career to try to achieve his aims.

HENDERSON ON COUTINHO

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has admitted he is powerless to influence Philippe Coutinho's thinking after the Brazilian submitted a transfer request on Friday.

"It is obviously a difficult situation for Phil. Whatever I say will not help the situation but as players, we are fully focused on the game," Henderson said.

"As players, you expect things in the transfer window to happen and players come and go.

"Of course, if you ask everyone, they want Phil to stay as he is a world-class player. I have had conversations with Phil, it is private, (but) I don't think I can influence the situation."
