Ah - you buy all that do you?
nahWhat about his agent...surely we did him at least lol...
We have rules?nah
it's all business mate dem the rules
I do think Couts will play though if he's made to stay behind. The only time he might take his foot off the gas is towards the end of the season depending on how close you guys are to winning the league.
Yeah... but no.
You must be smokn sone wenger dope there if you tbink a brazilian wouls miss a world cup he and his family would be lynched.
We have rules?
Why?For those who reckon Coutinho isn't going to sit out because of it being a WC, i don't think it will make much difference.
Brazil aren't the force they used to be and are a very average side going forward. Outside of Neymar, arguably Jesus and Coutinho, everyone is kinda of average going forward.

So, he will tske his foot off the gas by about January then. No chance we are gonna be close to winning the league
If there is proof of any of this then yes, report them![]()
Does that anyway. Couts is **** at tacklingmaybe he won't push that extra yard to get a tackle in, or maybe he'll bottle a 50/50 so he doesn't get injured. Loads of players do that for the world cup and especially if hes thinking he'll go to barca. Just my opinion
Why?
Oh I thought that he was sure to be airing his views on the Liverpool FC channel with all the other ex Scousers...
My guess is we wont be signing anyone else, unless its VvD, and thats a decreasing likelihood.FSG have backed themselves into a corner. Let's assume they're a company of their word. If so, we won't lose Coutinho but we also don't get VVD as they stated we won't be back in for him.
Read on Empire of the Kop earlier that Klopp is after an "experienced midfielder". Are they a reliable source or just click bait?
There is a way of doing this, all professional teams use the same method and it's accepted by most.
Approach the agent and tell him you are interested in his player.
Agent asks what are you thinking for his future
Club, probably a contract of 4 years plus optional 1 or 5 fixed if we can agree and regular first team football in CL (dependant on clubs involved)
Agent, what were you thinking salary wise
Club, we can probably go to double his present salary.
Agent, I will have a word and see if he is interested.
See, no direct contact between club and player, no actual tapping up, just an enquiry made to see if it's worth putting a bid in. Most if not all clubs work this way, papers get wind of the interest (agent obviously) and "contract agreed" headlines appear.
Blame the agent for the tapping up in normal circumstances but then, it's their job to get the best for their client.
Some clubs just get it all wrong and sit down with a player personally to discus contract, salary etc before his club even know anything about the interest, that's known as tapping up.
He thought I was funny, so his standards are obviously pretty low.Famous yokel non-wit?![]()
