Absolutely. No sale - unless it really hurts barca.
I am not sure we can do anything to "hurt" Barca. ? Even getting them to pay £130m means that they get a fantastic young player with massive potential to get even better and £70m in the kitty to get another good player. That's not hurting them, is it?

yes, because they're putting all their efforts and reputation on getting him for under £100m so that they can get Dembele too.

so stretch it out.

wait for coutinho to not show up to training/fake back treatment and then nail him.

Totally. Barca will never agree to £130m (not cash, anyway), and if they do it'll be on the deadline day. In the meantime, just bounce on Ford for every infringement of contract - give him something to REALLY dislike Jurgen for. Keep him away from the 1st team squad until September, and insist he's injured for the international. Worst case scenario in September is that he really will go on strike and **** his contract up. Well, we'll save on his wages anyway.

Won't work, he'll have Taylor and his cronies saying his human rights and his right to earn a living have been violated.

Guaranteed.

Wonder how much compensation we'd get if we put a heavy bomber jacket on Ford, took him to Stockwell station and said 'Go on, just jump over the barrier and go down to the platform where Barca are waiting with your new contract'? :emoticon-0138-think
