Very much shades of the Torres thing here. But even if it's true (wouldn't be the first time Sky have run with a Barca tip to have egg on its face) , it changes little - unless FSG are going to use it to sell Phil over Klopp's head.

Lads.... far have never ever put a statement out without meaning it. Have they now? Really.

If something changes the club will say so.

Precisely. I'm off too if Klopp goes, until FSG put in a TR. Okay, no great loss with me, but it's come to a point where this 'transfer' is now more important than keeping Phil for another year, even if he sulks. Remember, Luis went on strike in 2013, then gave us his best season ever. No, the point is, who runs this club? Unless Klopp comes out and fully endorses any sale, we know, when it comes to transfers, we're still in the Moneyball era.
