£20m LESS. ie that rumour was a £50m bid (not 58). 70-50 =20Touchy!
They apparently have offered £58m (too low imo). Not sure you lot have made an offer yet.
Dunno where you're getting £20m from![]()

Soton fans calling someone else Touchy.... lol, good one.

If you are then it's all a bit silly as you probably could have had him weeks ago![]()

We were waiting for Southampton to crack and do something stupid like fine him for their own decision for him to train alone![]()

And save us a fair whack in the process![]()

If you'd said he could go if he handed one in he would have weeks ago, instead you tried to bully him into staying.
Now you get to drag your club through an employment tribunal, what a great advert for future signings![]()

And save us a fair whack in the process![]()
Need to do better than that with me astro, you should know that by now![]()
It's true not every owner is in it for the money. Sometimes a club is just a billionaire's vanity project, a plaything.Have to disagree, he's slowed down in putting money into the club but i don't think he was playing the long game when he decided to spend loads on the club. Recently he has slowed down in just spending willy nilly (whether that is due to FFP or not) but he's spent (supposedly) 1 billion on the club already so he's hardly made a profit on the club.
The bottom line is, can Southampton afford to play him in reserve if he cannot be sold at the asking price?. " Buyer beware"
