I agree. It's a bit like when Ronaldo downed tools to get out of Uniturd. If Barca really want Ford it'll be a matter of how much we can get out of them. Trouble is, they're no mugs like paying £100m for Carlton Pogba, or £75m and rising for Lukhesky.

Agreed.

I know it's unpopular - especially here - but I dont think Coutinho is all that. Certainly not world class and don't think he ever will be.

Getting 75/80 Mil would be a great deal for you imo.

So you agree then that when his agent said he only wanted to play for Liverpool it wasn't because Liverpool were the only club bidding?
Of course, it was because they were the only ones to have tapped him up and offered £200K/week
Lets see what happens if anyone else offers him that much.

No, I agree, to an extent. As said, when you see how Uniturd have hyper-inflated the market (and City too with £50m for Walker) you can see how we'd like more than that for Ford, but we'll onlt get that money from the Prem, like we somehow got £50m for Torres, but the problem is that everyone then knows you've got money burning in your pocket. Perhaps we should try Griezman if Ford goes - he's probably just hanging on for a Top Four club.

not if we give you £60+m for VVD & RB £70m for Keita

Well you'd have to reply replace him too yeah.

Though I'd argue your team would be better balanced if you did that rather than keep him and only sign 1 of the 2.

Griezzman won't be going anywhere cos of the transfer ban Atletico have got.

The trick is to buy your replacements before the deal becomes official like Spurs did with Bale.

The transfer ban doesn't stop them selling. If Griezman REALLY wanted to slum it with Uniturd he'd be there now. As we're discussing, when a top player really wants to go they will go, and so will not-top players, like Lovren, Lukheskey and Sterling.

Quite right, Griezmann it seems has class. No way will he be putting his tools down and leaving the club in the ****.

Hasn't he come out publicly and stated he won't leave them in the lurch like that?

Can't see him going back on that, pretty sure he'd be at United by now otherwise.
