We've been pretty thick to get caught with sticky fingers, but this could possibly open a can of worms, tbh.
The thing is we all know it goes on all the time, and it's in every club's interest to keep schtum about it because they're probably all involved in it to varying degrees. Kicking up a fuss could just possibly stir the authorities into actually getting off their fat arses and looking into it.


Or, thinking about it, probably not.
Too much like hard work.

Southampton normally buy cheap and sell expensive so i don't think anyone will be bothered. As for VVD, its his fault for signing such a big contract without a release clause. In any case i don't see him as the type of guy whos going to kick up a fuss.

Tbf they only buy cheap and sell high to us, so to be fair they have rather screwed themselves over <laugh><laugh>
Seriously, no winners in this, no defence on our part but Southampton are acting fairly holier than thou at the minute. Football is a sess pit on the business, not one of us knows what goes on.

LAZIO have reached an agreement with AC Milan for winger Keita Balde, his agent has revealed.

Lucas Leiva claims he is in talks with former club Gremio about returning home to Brazil.
Lucas, 30, is out of contract this month at Liverpool and says he could re-sign for Gremio on a free 10 years after he quit them to move to Anfield for £5million.
The midfielder says he turned them down in January because he wanted to complete a decade at Liverpool.

Confident that the deal will still go ahead but we'll have to pay more now (unless VVD kicks up a fuss). Soton only reported us because they're pissed off that we killed any potential for a bidding war. They got what they wanted now.

Blimey.
Surely there's better value out there? Ok, he's good, but not so good that no-one else will do. Has to be some more Matips out there somewhere.

My main point is that agents rule.

Players seem pretty dim at times and the agent has a large say.

New contract = money for agent
Transfer = money for agent.

Thus i am sure at the time vvds agent got a sum.when he signed for.southampton and when he signed a new contract.... but it is very clear he wanted a large pay day moving his palyer and all the commerical stuff that goes with a big move.

This agent is right now i think scrambling to get a city deal.

The point i have is the next guys agent will be thinking... hmm this lot are troublesome. They used to be an easy source of ready cash and exposure for a big oay day in a couple years... now?

**** no. I can pick another 2/3 clubs offers and get my big pay day.

Just my logic about how an agent might think.
