Liverpool transfer news and rumours: 'Reds to make £8million swoop for Hull left-back Andy Robertson'
PLUS: Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool will have it easier in the transfer window if they qualify for the Champions League
Liverpool are reportedly targeting Andrew Robertson, the Hull left-back, in an £8million deal.

The Daily Mail say Reds manager Jurgen Klopp wants Robertson, 23, as a long-term replacement for James Milner.

Milner, naturally a midfielder, has made the left-back berth his own this season, with Klopp understandably unwilling to put his trust in the erratic Alberto Moreno.

Robertson has played in all but five of Hull's Premier League games this season.

Klopp using Champions League to tempt major targets
Jurgen Klopp has revealed talks are already underway with top European stars as the prospect of Champions League football makes his summer recruitment drive easier, writes David Maddock.

The Liverpool manager intends to strengthen his squad with up to seven new players as the Reds prepare to spend big to sustain a viable double assault on the Premier League and Europe next season.

With Klopp linked to big money names like Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette , Schalke trio Sead Kolasinac, Leon Goretzka and Max Meyer, Naby Keita of Leipzig, Brazil star Luan Vieira and Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon amongst others, plans are at an advanced stage.
And the German coach suggested even though he has no guarantee of landing the biggest targets being pursued - with so many of Europe’s elite as rivals - talks have made clear it is now far simpler to sell Liverpool as a club to prospective signings.

“I think that Liverpool at this moment is a really interesting project for players. It’s a fantastic club, it’s a good situation where we really can see the progress of the team,” he said.

I genuinely read Arjen Robben instead of Andy Robertson...

Does RHC still talk to his mate? That's gone really quiet.

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly retaining an interest in Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon despite his £15million price tag.

Sessegnon is set to sign his first professional contract with the Cottagers when he turns 17 next month.

However, the Express say that won't deter Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham from chasing his signature.

It is claimed that Liverpool are keen to sign Sessegnon this summer before loaning him back to Fulham for the entirety of next season.

Sturridge a major doubt for Palace clash
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has emerged as a major doubt for the Reds' home clash against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

So who are our new transfer targets?

Haha. These articles really annnoy me because it adds unnecessary pressure. We won't get any of them without top 4. Talk about targets after the season - in fact, don't talk about targets at all, do the deals privately!

give it a rest
just because we make top 4 does not mean we get to sign really top players that only happens if
1. you can practically guarantee it
2. you just throw **** loads of money at them.
3.you're based in London

just sign players to fit how you want to play & become a option a)
