I actually think that's not a bad bit of business on Sakho.

He is not going to play for us, 2m, wages off the books and mark my words, Palace will stay up no problem and it'll look like Sakho played a pivotal role. £35m in the summer - bookmark it :emoticon-0178-rock:

Yeah I guess that's the thinking that his value will increase to them from 20mill. Let's all hope they've got dem proper fat burner links innit fam, proper links

look IMO the reality is there was ONE club interested. that says it all

we get 2mil now, no wages and a bad smell gone. We then get to see if he tries a leg for palace and if he does do well that 20mil fee can still be realied as he has 3 years left on contract.

I'd agree, we did not fold to palace trying to get a cheap deal and so they were desperate in the end and took him on laon for the wages and fee.

We can but hope we get the 20mil next summer.

There's a difference between a club being interested and being able to afford.

Only we were interested in Matip - that says it all?

Look everyone would love a yacht with a bunch of supermodels on it too.

thats like saying everyone would love a player like him including plymouth and wolves etc.

Only one club entered negotitations whereas southamton or whichever russian club did not even talk formally.

end of.

Robbie brady had 3 bids and he turned some down. there was anothe rplayer i think toldwest ham to go do one?

LFC set a price which was not sustainable form a player not playing any football. at least palalce were desperate enough to try it on. They paid 14mil for that dog rough sunderland CB so we were never getting 20 2 days later. getting 2mil plus a bit of hope the asshole proves himself as a player is about all we could do.

At least we didn't fold and sell for 12mil.

Id rather palace stay up and Sakho help palace take points off our rivals for top 4 though.

Im not that big enough a fan of Brighton to hate palace for that rivalry. I never quite understood the rivalry between two, it's not local lol.

Do dislike alladyce (don't mind palace, fans seem genuine and make a good atmosphere at ground) but I like Liverpool more than I hate him <ok>

now if they can go down but still beat all or rivals then even better <whistle>
