No way we should be selling him in Jan. They'll be a time when we need him... when Mane goes away we'll be left with only 3 forward wide players... no chance they can all play every game after coming off busy xmas period and Cout just coming back from injury.

Sturridge may have to wait a bit but he will get games over xmas and new year (if he's fit).

Summer is dif story if we bring in couple more players and he wants to go and we get good money (£40m plus)

I would agree. IT would make little sense for him nor us if there is a sniff of a medal.

I think he's on 120k a week or maybe 150k. no sure... he's not getting that elsewhere in january so no matter what an ex-pro might have an opinion on (i'm sure we all share it come summer) I don't think klopp would allow it and sturridge would be mad to.

I suspect there is a thought that this injury is fake and he's been held to be sold as we've done it before.

No chance of £40m+

He's not really wanted and he's got a shocking injury record
 
It is kind of interesting that theres nothing really coming out if the camp for janaury.

we have seen:

1. some things very tightly gaurded (matip not playing for example at times)

2. somethings being told like mingolet coming in.

3. certain signings becoming known about like mane

4. certain other signings like karius and klavan being out of the blue

theres no real transfer info right now as far as i've seen so are we seeing a tighter ship here or just no actual targets selected yet?
 
Hopefully it's tighter ship mito.

Why, well self explanatory really. We have targets we want that are of cl standard probably, which they should be, might depend on our league position as well.

Just hope we can get them in Jan. Definitely help with our top 4 push and cups.
