Youre like Leicester... Only top because all the big guns are having an off season with last years champ currently languishing in mid table after a shocking start but picking up form in 2nd half of season.
Does that mean you are like chelsea? Champions but dropped right off with no chance of even hitting top 4?

I was playing Cards Against Humanity with the wife and my parents. Had to laugh when my mum played the "Smegma" card and said "I've no idea what that is". Wife didn't either she had to look it up on phone.
just a bit a bout last night, I missed the 1st half but from what I saw in the 2nd we diddnt do enough to warrant a win bar that sturridge miss, we move the ball well at times and it all looks very tidy (and predictable) but again its Coutinho who seems to be our only mid who can spot and execute an early pass and we've paid for it in many games this season.
Henderson on occasion does this but not enough and usually from deeper.
Chan hugs the ball too much & too often and really needs to learn when to release it, I do feel he will be a really good player one day when he figures out what type of player he actually wants to be because at the moment its hard to tell besides his obvious athleticism.
Lallana has no end product and is lightweight.
Milner can create but more from his tenacity than anything else most of the time.
Lucas is for the bin/back up at best, and there's no one really stand out coming up from the u21s either.
Just too many average squad players there and that's the just the midfield
There's no guessing what Klopp will do in the market because there's simply so much to do! doubt he can make miracles happen in just one window looking at how much we need improving but i'm hoping.
So far we have the young midfielder coming with Matip & that's with little if any dent to any summer funds & Im expecting a keeper to bench Mignolets place, A winger although we could try Moreno there in all honesty as he's a heart attack type of defender Another CM and CB and who knows after that. its a lot of work and hard to get right.

Maybe we can actually get near the 16m we paid if he goes china, its a big possibility as i cant see anyone in Europe wanting to take on the "ballotelli problem" tbh, I can see Benteke going too if someone bids around 20/25m as klopp clearly doesn't fancy him, Id be happy if we can get rid of both and raise around 30m for the kitty and bring in one more forward to go with Studge, Ings, Origami & hopefully have some change left over.

balotelli... if we get 10 mil i'd take it but i feel we cn extract 15 from chinese

Tbh Stewart looked ok vs Exeter and had a good game vs West Ham. Did nothing v Villa.
Yet to think he'll make it for us. Might make us more of a fee now though.

I'd take the money and run.
A healthy Studge may be worth that on his own but he's not healthy. Benteke doesn't fit us. We could buy someone actually useful for the club with that money.
