IMO Sterling was and is over-rated. By comparison, if Liverpool get Inaki Williams for the price quoted, then Liverpool have paid well under the odds. He is an amazing talent and if he was to sign a new contract, 100m euros (£70m) is quoted in the release, clause, which in reality is much nearer his true value considering his age, ability to conjure goals and contribution to the team effort. .

Well... I agree if he did sign a contract the release would be massive. Dunno about anything else other than it would be standard practice for anyone who's done anything at all.

Sterling is English. He and Delph have value for squads.

    That is ridiculously cheap.

I thought he'd wait till summer to get a big fat signing on fee.

    He's got knee problems.....

Yeah it's cheap but Southampton are fast assembling a right bunch with Austin and long.

They are not going to be up top half again if they keep this up.

It would seem your manager has different views to the supporters,

Milner,..... not good enough......first choice starter
    Mings.....not good enough......new 5 year contract
Long.....wtf........Se if we can get him.

Is he taking you the right way?

With all your little jibes at Klopp. I wanted to know if you actually think he is a good manager or not?

If Klopp had not refused Utd's offer when Fergie retired he would be the best thing since sliced bread :emoticon-0105-wink:

I think Klopp is a great manager and would have loved him to come to OT, it just seems to me that most of you have the opposite opinion on players to him.
    Do you lot rate/trust him?

I think Klopp isn't going to want to upset or piss off the players he currently has, especially when he didn't buy them in the first place, it'll be interesting next season, once he's had some money to spend and has managed to get rid of some of those he doesn't rate.

I rate Klopp, but he can only play the players he has in the squad who are not injured. To date he has only bought one player, who looks as if he could be good. After he has had a summer transfer window to bring in players he wants and get shut of some he does not will we begin to judge him.

To date I like what I see.

Agreed, but surely he is still picking the players he thinks are best suited to the job?
And he has no reason to give players a new contract at this stage of the season so I would assume anyone offered one must be staying in his mind.

Completely. I think there is an issue atm that the club clearly wants to wait until the summer to spend and make signings we need. I think we had to act to get that kid Grujic (spelling) and we seem to be getting an early deal for Matip. Otherwise sh!t players like Caulker have been brought in as a cheap option for the short term and the same with our loan players as its a cheap option whilst we have injury issues. I think Mignolet is good for a backup keeper and I think Klopp will realise that at some point, he didn't **** around getting rid of Bogdan and brining our young keeper back.

In the end he is a top quality manager who I completely trust and back. Its great to see our manager actually give a sh!t and respond the same way as the fans when things go well or wrong.
