Despite interest from Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle, Ashley Young is set to stay at Manchester United after signing a three year contract, reports the Daily Star

****
We were interested in Young?!?

Yes, but not for footballing reasons...

There were articles linking us to him last week but I think it was just made up malarky from bored journalists.

How many fcking players are you lot trying to buy! WTF
I don't know why we're looking at more wingers/forwards. The defence and midfield is clearly the problem. Last years lack of goals seem to have really got BR and the owners.

Think the better question is how many players are you going to end up selling by the end of the window.
Rvp
Evans
Di Maria
De Gea
Rafael
Evans

Very true. You forgot the mighty Cleverley! Unfortunately I think Evans is staying :(

Trare is only a loan with option so that barca can buy coutinho next summer.

Everyone knows that surely?

.....

Also we did buy in the right areas this summer. Only time will tell if the signings work or not. At least imo 4 of them improve us unlike lallana and lovern and balotelli last year.

Just cos we can't butly an entire 11 in one summer doesn't mean we've not done the heaviest lifting needed.

Still rumours of illarramendi and apparebtly upped our bid for him according to telegraph.
