How can you be so sure?? We've conceded roughly 150 goals over the past 3 seasons and now the defence is magically fixed because we've upgraded the right back and have Milner ?? Like I said, numerous times, I think there is a danger of us conceding the same amount of goals if not more if we don't start with Sakho and have Can in the holding role. Not sure why you're so upset or blind to this possibility. I wish I could ignore glaring holes in the squad, and look at the club through rose tinted glasses. Unfortunately, it's just not in my nature.
Unfortunately, giving an opinion which criticises the club comes with abuse and insults from other posters. But f*ck it - I rather take that stick than be a sheep.
Lets just ****ing see it how it goes shall we!? My fear is that everyone starts moaning regardless of the result if they don't see their preferred 11 - we are all different people with different opinions and can't all have our preferred line up! No point talking about shipping 50-60 goals before a game is played - lets stay positive and hope the staff we have recruited are working on not letting the defence be so exposed this year.
To be honest I think it's a disgrace [and I hardly ever use that word because I don't like]. Freezing players out isn't on, no matter how much effort they've allegedly put in on the training ground, match day or whatever. Sterling was being taken on tour, before his move came through, and what he did was far worse in my view.
I see quite a nice balance of players with good depth too - might surprise a few people, might be ****ing crap but lets not kill anyone before anything has happened!
Fans want to talk about Mario's attitude and professionalism, but Rodgers is no angel himself. The club have acted poorly and petty.
