Personally I think Alexander Isak is overvalued @£150m .Isak made a mistake of not having a released clause in his contract.

There's not a player in the world, with the possible exception of Yemal, who is worth £150m in today's world football. Not one. Maybe Mo is worth £150m to the Saudi league because of the obvious Arab worship, but that's it. His actual book price, if there is such a thing, is €120m. But it's what we'll pay for him that'll determine his value, and I fear we'll pay around £130m (or even another £10m on top of that) for him.

He's been deliberately over-valued in a desperate attempt to deter buyers.

If Mo had gone this past summer I think 150m to that league would have been correct due to what he would bring and what it means - however
No player is worth 1m to me <laugh>
Money in football is stupid levels
But you could level that at most industries/businesses

Isak would a fantastic purchase... But Hugo E. Is showing he can score goals for us and has transitioned smoothly. Isak is a luxury, not a necessity. (Although Hugo E could get injured at some point).

Don't need to spend 150 for Isak. But if we could get him for less might be worthwhile

He would probably have gone on a free if he were going.. but I know what you mean.

People pay therefore the business supplies.

20,000 mo salah shirts at 125 a pop is 2.5mil

And that's just.being conservative. You can argue what and where those shirt are sold and who else would be on the back of them but stars drive merch

I have no idea if that was in support of what I was saying or against it
Or just an add on
Either way I agree totally <laugh>

We wont be paying £150m for Isak. If we were, we would have by now.

We've been waiting till it got to this stage, where Newcastle have to accept they need to sell. I reckon it'll be £110m + about £15m in add-ons. Unless they demand a player in return and the obviously the price starts to drop.

Andy Carroll did well at Newcastle but failed to make the grades at Anfield, Countinho was perfect at Anfield, but failed to make the grades in Barcelona. Failure to sign Isak maybe a blessing in disguise.

They have tried to get him to go to Saudi without success.

They may try again before deadline day.

It's pretty clear howe has pushed the palmer to this point and the player is more than ready push back so now the fans and media and even players are all.over it and its a mess.

We have to deal.with st James next weekend. A strong ref would help but it'll be a cauldron and isal will be absued from start to finish.

Getting out with no injuries and a 0-0 would be good but we had better learn to hold and pull and drag on set piece. We gave Bournemouth loads of set plays and didn't look very good on them either.
