Thinking seems to be its an upgrade on Quansah for a similar price, with the buy back clause as well.
Guehi has plenty of prem. experience and has captained Palace also.
Like you say,our transfer activity has been pretty solid for some years now so we 'trust the system'.

Have my reservations too: he's no better than Konate (probably not as fast), and we're supposedly paying him £200k a week - what we wouldn't pay Ibou. But he's HG and less injury-prone, tbf. Presumably, this means Ibou is going in this window and we've got another CB from around Europe or the lower leagues lined up as well.

Changing so much of the first XI, we may struggle at start of the season.
It's a possibility sure but I'm optimistic slot knows how to Integrate the new lads in without too much disruption to thtema rhythm or the ones who's positions are now under real competition like robbo and sboz as both seem like characters that will rise to that challenge imo.
In fact I'm hoping the fresh faces create a real buzz within the team and I expect us to start off very strong

Too good to be true? I understand Lucho 100% being frustrated that he earns one-third of what Chiesa does, and I'd treble his wages in a heartbeat. But, supposedly (!), he wants £200k and is prepared to sit out his contract. IF we could get €100m for him, AND IF he'd go to Saudi in a WC season, then this would make up for flogging Nunez at less than half price to Napoli. Go for it, I say. And I really, really rate Diaz.

Most likely total rubbish.
The guy wants a pay day.
All we know is both him amd konate are approaching end of contract and both want money.
Everything else is made up or with an agenda.
I couldn't say if konate wants to go or wants a change or scene or wants 300k a week or what. Only time will tell.
He has to be dealt with first and quickly.
Diaz as 2 years left and is 28. 99% of this is rubbish as barca have no interest really as they want Williams and have raphinha.
Diaz to Saudi is who knows stuff. It could be his own agent looming for a deal.
What i do know is that if a guy wants more moeny then sitting for 2 years on 70k a week is cutting his own throat if he really wants money. He will be 30 and won't get a big deal. Imo he knows this and wants to get a contract from us or a move to get it.

Darwin Nunez has agreed personal terms with Napoli. The two clubs , Liverpool and Napoli are trying to reach a compromise.
