Man City about to buy their 5th player. They bought as many in the Jan window didn’t they? It does seem like a changing of the guard for them - I’m glad we kept VvD (especially) and Salah - we are also in transition. If Arsenal don’t win it next year, they never will under Arteta.
We’re not exactly in that much of a transition. We have new full backs incoming and Wirtz. Salah,, VVd haven’t left. The midfield has stayed. Only change forward wise could be Nunéz leaving.

Dno, way some people talking we should also be having a brand new cb to go alongside lb and rb plus a new cm and a new cf alongside Wirtz so half the team changing.

Florian Wirtz transfer to be completed next week – medical scheduled
Florian Wirtz should become a Liverpool player next week, with the player due to undertake his medical and media duties after returning from his holiday.
Earlier this week a verbal agreement was reported between Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen over a deal worth up to €150 million (£127.6m).
That was downplayed as premature by sources close to the club, but there is now an expectation that Wirtz’s transfer will finally go through next week.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg and transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano both claim the move will be finalised when the No. 10 returns from his post-season holiday.
That will include a medical, with Plettenberg reporting this will take place “next week at the latest” along with his contract signing and media duties with the club.

The man has finally got going.
And people insist on giving edwards all the credit.
2/3 with the risky contracts (which I still think was a risk based on player comments) and the 1 was obviously a traitor who was never signing no matter what was offered .
Frimpong straight in right after the traitor announced.
Now a statement signing for the coach.
Hopefully this will be really slot kicking on now and Hughes will prove an ideal foil.

Does Diaz need a new contract?
You could add "/sale" to Konate as well, in which case I would say that a new CB would be more important than a striker.

I name no names… but no I’m sure a few have said we need another CB despite having 4 at the moment.
I'm not sure whether or not I've said it before but I think we should be looking at getting another CB or at least 'monitoring' the situation
We may have 4 already but that's a bit like saying you've got 4 shirts and don't need another one when only 1 of those shirts still fits you.It's not the quantity, it's the quality and fitness for purpose.
