I found Mané to be the most frustrating of the front three. He and Salah took equal turns at being selfish and also missing 'easy' chances. Mané would not fall over when he could have done (ie when he'd legitimately been fouled hard) but then would go down when he'd barely been touched. The penalties he could have won ....<laugh>

Again, I love that because it's honest. It's an aspect I don't like about Salah. I'm old school, only go down if forced and NEVER show pain.

100% effort at all times is why he was my favourite

I truly liked his nasty edge as well (not when he kicked Ederson in the head though, albeit recklessly but without malice). Many a team tried to kick him out of the game, but you need that edge, like Keegan, Dalglish, St John, Owen, Suarez, and several others had - "You kick me and I'll kick you: in fact, I'll kick you first to get my retaliation in'. I think Shanks and paisley would approve - you have to earn your right to play at the top level. He never forgot that. :emoticon-0165-muscl

I'm with you on players being honest. I do think though that the way referees favour players who go down, makes me want ours to give it a go just to even things up. I call it playing them at their own game. Jota is a great example of drawing a penalty.

Diaz rolls about 6 times.

Salah is constsntly throwing his hands up and sulking about anything and everything.

Thats about as much diving as I could put up with.

Put it it this way, I perfered riise putting man and ball put over the side line to hammer turning in his own half then flopping over to earn a free.

Chicken or egg situation isn't it. Do we need players to stop cheating or referees to start giving fouls when they don't go down first?

Some very strong supporting rumours now flying that salah has indeed signed his contract.

These related to media work salah was spotted doing, fans believe a social media post like his last contract renewel is about to drop using this media work.
