Mo Salah has agreed to sign for Ireland and will represent Ireland at the next world cup. Apparently he has an ancestry hailing from Al'dergrove.

I'm sure they'd give him a passport and all.

I heard they gave tommy robinson one so they will give anyone documents.

Apparently that dimbulb was arrested in Canada and was travelling on it.

Well he's done it now lol.

A bit stupid not to go into the club and say you are signing a new keeper you have to let me go.

In the end he also needs to realise he not got anyone willing to pony up what the club wants which is around 20mil give Trafford moved for 15 rising to 19.

If nobody is willing to seriously stump up while there's a good amount of loans flying about then it says to me that

    A) ffp is scaring the lower clubs who won't pay for a keeper

    B) none of them think he's really that good.

He's said he wants to go already anyway. He's a extremely good number two but I wouldn't say he's a quality number one

His mother was born in Ireland so he can legitimately have an Irish passport.

Can’t blame kelleher. Too good to be a number 2 keeper and would walk into most mid table prem clubs. While he maybe was happy to wait a year or two and take over Ali, with signing of new keeper, the summer is the time to go and we should allow him that for a decent fee.

I hope we’ve not just signed new keeper and selling kelleher just for ffp issues (academy kids and all that).

My view is that yes Kelleher is too good to be a No2 and mid table club etc, but at the same time all that says is he isn't good enough to be our No1. It's been a relief to have him whilst Allison has been injured as we knew he'd do a more than capable job, however he isn't the quality of Allison and that's what you need if you want to be top4.
Kelleher was never going to take over from Allison, he's just not good enough is the harsh truth.

The Georgian lad has clearly been earmarked as the future No1 of the club, with next season being a crossover season between him and Allison and proved himself as a No1 at a big Club. Had he moved this summer Kelleher would probably have been sold already.

Kelleher could make it as #1 at several "big clubs" too.... But certainly most mid table clubs. I'll be sad to see him go, but writing is on the wall now.

I think he could have taken over from Alisson but he’s have had to wait another 2/3 years and I don’t think he wants or should have to. Let’s be real, when Ali goes we’d have to replace the best keeper in the world for the last 4 years. So is anyone ever going to be good enough to replace him? Maybe not like for like. All can say is that whenever he’s played for us either for a one off or extended period of time he’s never let us down and that’s all you can ask for a number 2

I'd say whilst he hasn't let us down, there has been a number of goals conceded that I've thought 'Alisson would have saved that'. Which leads me to the not quite good enough to be a no1 at a title (top4) ambitious club.

And as a no2 that's to be expected, IF he was to stay as a no2. However Kelleher clearly wants to be a no1 NOW and tbf he's probably too good to sit on a bench, but not good enough to be our no1.

So what we've got is a 'too good to sit on the bench, not good enough to be a top4 no1'

The reality here is there's not a long queue thats formed for him

He's won 2 cups as "first choice"

He's done ok for 10 games on an extended run in the premier league.

He's played internationals but had to sit watching the woeful southampton keeper play in front of him.

Nobody seems willing to pony up despite him doing OK.

I think his physique doesn't engender any confidence in him amd his basic shot stopping is average.

I'd love to see him succeed but I just don't think he will.

Look at the clubs who've taken others this season alone.

Southampton took ramsdale (who I don't rate any higher btw)

Forest ended up with a cheap option out of Brazil.

Kepa went on loan to bournemouth.

    Wolves picked up Sam Johnston.

So clubs had access to some very comeptitive options to Keller for a lot less money. Ramsdale and Johnstone and then kepa on loan too?

These clubs won't put down 20mil for that.

Maybe next summer someone will have an opening but who knows.

I strongly suspect we will price him put of a move here.

But I think that’s because we’re spoiled with Ali. He’s makes the difficult look easy.

You know Forest bid for him and we turned it down right? Just because we haven’t seen teams bid doesn’t mean interest is there. Maybe lots of clubs knew we weren’t interested in selling so weren’t putting in serious bids and this summer you’ll see more interest.

They bid a half our askign price.

They all knew what it was and none were willing to match it so forest took their money and then bought a Brazilian keeper.

Thst says to me they didn't believe enough to push the boat out or enter a serious negotiation.

    20mil. Thats all it took.

If you bid 10 then expect to be knocked back.
