guarduola has as many problems with injury and hunger after last season. he's got to get his glorious cheats troops lined up and ready for battle. we will have 4 forwards for the period of the acon, barring yet more injury. the league Cup is the main one now. the fa cup draw means I think we won't be too bothered. we will play through to the europa last 16 ok. but we will see. the next game is the end of the block and will tell us all we need to know now.

If I could ask for any player as a present for Penguin Awareness Day, it would be a versatile RB who can also play LB. Long term cover for Trent and can temporarily fill in at LB until Tsimi/Robertson back. Don't think we need a new LB, we just need the ones we have to be healthy again. But we do need a RB, and really that's our only pressing concern when everyone is fit. Anything else can wait until summer.
